Under the Same Sky is a Polish filmmaker’s journey into the heart of
wartime Ukraine. Arriving in Kyiv for the first time, he meets artists
who remained in the capital or came back after the invasion. Their
stories of resilience, anxiety, and quiet strength unfold against the
backdrop of a city where air raid sirens interrupt moments of
creativity, and normal life exists under the shadow of potential
destruction. The film juxtaposes the fragile peace of the sky above
with the psychological and political weight of war on the ground.
